AuScope Awards Dinner
AuScope Awards Dinner - 10 years of AuScope - infrastructure, impact and innovation.

To celebrate the decadal anniversary of AuScope and the impact that AuScope infrastructure building programs have had on the Australian Earth and Geospatial Sciences research community AuScope is holding a one-day symposium at AESC in June 2016: 10 years of AuScope — infrastructure, impact and innovation. The symposium will be followed by a formal dinner and the presentation of awards that will honour the outstanding contribution Australian researchers have made using AuScope infrastructure.

The three awards we will be presenting are as follows:

1. Application of Science Award — honours an individual or group that have demonstrated a significant advancement in research using Auscope infrastructure and translated the research into a substantial impact both nationally and internationally.

2. Excellence in Research Achievement Award — honours researchers, working in the Earth and Geospatial Sciences using AuScope infrastructure, who demonstrate excellence through track record or clearly demonstrated potential.

3. AuScope Collaboration Award — honours groups or projects that have demonstrated effective collaboration to produce innovative and ground breaking advances in the fields of Earth and Geospatial Sciences using AuScope infrastructure.

Recipients of the awards will receive a commemorative lapel pin, a framed certificate and a $10,000 travel bursary to facilitate the promotion of the groups research and its relationship to AuScope.

Seats are limited. Please contact Helen Keogh, admin@auscope.org.au to register you interest in securing a seat at the dinner.
